Every year I tell my husband that I don't want to be bothered by Valentine's Day and every year, without fail, I find some last minute desire to plan and decorate an elaborate date. I found my inspiration in my closet, a cute pink dress and red pumps. Called my wonderful florist over at Flowerful in Viera and pleaded with her to pull off a miracle during her busiest day. I asked for roses, she delivered works of art!
The idea was a simple candle lit backyard dinner. I wanted to serve breakfast for dinner because it's the only time when you can have mounds of sugar and call it a meal. Syrup and powdered sugar anyone? I made Bacon wrapped mini quiches, heart shaped waffles, and XO red velvet pancakes. Yum!! The chocolate bars I found at World Market served as place settings; no time for menus, only chocolate!
These pictures were taken while the Mr. was still at work minus the last photo. He would kill me if I turned a date into a photoshoot!! He posed us for the last pic, what a cheeseball :P
